Handheld Systems, Inc

Established 1994

We’ve learned a few things since starting in 1994. Technology is always changing. Suppliers come and go. Customers need continuity to maintain existing operations. We can help by offering the newest ultra-rugged handhelds while continuing to manufacture and support legacy handhelds. Product lifecycles are extended giving you the time to evaluate new technologies or develop new systems. We’ll keep you going over the long haul.

Industry solutions

Customers use our equipment in demanding, mission-critical environments including:

  • Forestry
  • Agriculture
  • Military
  • Parking enforcement
  • Meter reading
  • Field service
  • Mining
  • Surveying
  • Oil and Gas

Our sales team can help you choose the correct product for each application.

Qualified engineers

Our engineers receive specialized training and are able to repair Husky, Itronix, and Itron handheld computers to original specifications using authentic OEM parts. We use the latest through-hole and surface-mount lab equipment for performing repairs and are often able to repair the handheld at the component level instead of replacing the entire assembly. While we try to complete service as quickly as possible, a typical turn-around time is 2 to 5 working days from the time HHS receives the equipment.

Contract repair services

In addition to our standard flat-rate repair services, we offer contract repair services for other brands of handhelds. This allows you to reduce overhead costs and focus your resources in other areas. Many times, we are able to improve customer satisfaction by reducing repeat repairs and providing same-day to two-day turnaround times. Repairs are completed using the latest through-hole and surface-mount lab equipment in an ESD safe workplace. Customer-owned inventory storage and management is available as well.
